The Leap of Faith

One of the highlights of Bonclarken is for each student to put away personal fears and ideas to better aid his team. One of those that did an excellent job putting forth his best for his team is our junior, Graham Norman. Here is Graham climbing a 20 plus foot power pole. After climbing to the top, he then had to pull himself up to a standing postition on top, and then, he jumped to the trapeze bar in front. Graham made this look easy.

World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser

It is officially here - our first fundraiser of the year. We will be distributing cases of World's Finest Chocolate bars to our students on Monday, August 31. Each student will receive on case of a variety bar and a labeled envelope for money storage. Each bar cost $1, and our school will receive 50% of the profit. We are awarding a cash prize to our top three sellers - $75, $50, and $25. Let's think outside of the box, and seek to sell as many chocolate bars as we can!

Bonclarken Leadership Retreat

Be in prayer for our junior and senior high students. Staff and students will be leaving Monday morning for a three day leadership retreat in Flat Rock, NC. We all look forward to many lessons in working together as a team. It is a great opportunity for each of students to get to know one another as well as shape leadership qualities in all areas. MCA and the News Herald

I hope you caught the Friday News Herald. MCA was a featured article in the Faith and Values section. If you missed it, don't worry. Drop by the office to view a copy in the office window. Please continue to pray for God to bless us with the right students for the best school year ever. Our pre-k program is enrolling frequently, and we have two new additions to our kindergarten and second grade. It is exciting to see God's hand at work.

Open House 2009

Thank you to all of our parents who attended our recent open house. We were excited to greet each of you, and we are very excited about our upcoming year with your student.
